Weight Loss Journey…Day 36: Choices, Choices & more Choices!

7/30/14 – Day 36

Today is Wednesday. I can tell that the choices I’ve made recently to eat raw vegetables for lunch is paying off. I’ve ditched my heated frozen vegetables and substituted them for carrots and occasionally cucumbers. I’m glad that I have done so. I have to pick other vegetables for next week though in order to keep it fresh. I don’t want my lunch to get boring. As long as I maintain a smaller calorie lunch, then dinner will be fine. I’m also working out every night if I can so it’s making up for it as well. The difference is starting to show.

Starting Weight: 185.8

Breakfast: Shake calories: 345

Lunch: carrots and cucumbers approx. calories: 55

Dinner: flat bread pizza – approx calories: 380

snacks: banana and candy – approx calories: 310

Weight Loss Journey…Day 35: Taco Tuesday!

7/29/14 – Day 35

It’s just a normal Tuesday. I still didn’t make it to go running in the morning and for some reason I didn’t do my normal walking at lunch either. It was a weird day. I didn’t hit the gym either. I came straight home and made tacos. Tacos are tasty! It was Tuesday… 🙂

Weight Loss Journey…Day 34: It’s rough out there!

7/28/14 – Day 34

Well it’s Monday so it’s back to the grind stone. This should be a normal week of activity. The weather has been cooperative this time of year. I feel like I’ve been stuck at the same weight for a little bit. I know that I’m suppose to try some other options and look at getting back to multiple workouts soon. The struggle I’m having is getting up so early. My partner gets up at 3am most mornings, which in turns wakes me up so when my alarm hits for 5:30 I shut it off cause I need more sleep.

I’m working on getting that back on track. I just have to motivate myself to do it.
