It’s HUMP DAY! I often now hear a particular camel’s voice in my head when I say that…darn media and TV commercials! I’m glad it’s the middle of the week, that means the wonderful weekend is almost here. I’m excited for Saturday because I’m going to an event called Brick Fest Live which is a bunch of vendors and creators of LEGOs that are putting on an exhibition. I’ve never gone to one of these events before and I’m very excited since my latest obsession outside of fitness is LEGOs!

I think it’s going to be a great event and I hope I get some inspiration for some of my future projects.

So tonight a group of ladies and me from work went out for dinner prior to our Relay For Life meeting. We ended up a place called the Pizzeria UNO. I had a large meal but it was so good and much better than just pretzel sticks. I don’t feel guilty at all. I did go to the gym after the meeting and spent almost 2 hours there. I hope I worked off what I ate. I enjoy those kinds of meals way too much and I need to learn to have some self control when eating out.

Monday has finally arrived once more and let me tell you it’s time to hunker down and get with it. I’m not going to let things stop me this week from accomplishing my goals. It was a positive reinforcement to hear people noticing my weight loss at bowling on Thursday so I know that once I lose more to hit my target, I’m sure the compliments are going to keep coming. This is the motivation and the enforcement that I need. Now why can’t I get up at 5:30am to go running? I figure that out soon…

So in the USA football season officially begins today and there’s no better way to celebrate than with food of course. Nothing else could get done today during the first 4 hours of the games. Eventually I broke free and did laundry and dishes but I should have gone to the gym. I opted out of that option, bad decision. I’ll just have to make it up during the week and go extra hard.

Today I was able to get in a lot of walking along with going to the gym. I was in search mode for one of my favorite new obsessions, LEGOS! I’m in love with finding Lego Minifigures or building blocks to make some cool displays. I went to a flea market and walked almost a good 2 miles at hit. Every day my goal is set to hit 7000 steps, I made it with in the first hour or so of looking around. I left there and went to Target and then the gym. It was a very productive day until I went to Red Robin.

Happy Friday! Finally…wow that was a long week, even with the holiday built into it. Work was crazy but I managed to make it through. I think that has helped me curb my appetite this week. I know it definitely helped. Since I had a small lunch snack I opted for a small hoagie and mashed potatoes from our local WaWa convenience store. It was delicious! The previous night’s meals didn’t hurt me at all.

I’m hoping to get up and go running in the mornings again, but I just can’t seem to get myself up… sleep is so good for you too.
