When you have a craving do you need to satisfy it even though it may derail you from your goal?
Last week I had a strong craving for a Pizza Hut stuffed, ranch flavored, crust pizza. I was hoping to satisfy that craving last Saturday after my weigh in but I did not succeed in my plan. I knew I was starting a new week but I could not get that craving out of my mind. I had to have it and so by Wednesday I broke down. I knew it wasn’t a good thing and I regretted my decision directly after I ate it but it was so good. What’s done is done. Now I knew I would have a battle on my hands.
It felt felt so good to have that pizza. It was like the best pizza I had ever eaten. If Heavan could be found in a food, it would be that pizza. I know my way around a pizza… I mean I didn’t get over 200lbs by eating air.
I did wake up the next day and was feeling guilty for eating it.
I knew that I would have to hunker down and really focus if I was going to lose any weight this week and I did it!
I ate well the rest of the week and excercised even harder!
Now my loss wasn’t huge but it was still a loss. I’m happy to state that I’m back in the 170s and I haven’t been there in over 5 years. My total loss is 26lbs so far.
I’ve been at this now for 12 weeks…I’ve made some great progress so far but I’m not done yet! Stay tuned!!!
Have a great week!
Okay so I’ve been at this whole weightloss journey this time for a solid 11 weeks now.
Can you believe it? I’m actually sticking with it this time and I’m very excited. I’m starting to notice some significant changes.
My clothes are loser… I had to adjust my belt loops. My glasses are loose and I’ll have to take them in for an adjustment soon.
I’ve noticed that I do have more energy and have to come up with ways to tire myself out because I don’t want to lay in bed restless. I’ve been trying to intensify my workouts.
I am sad to report that I didn’t start my strength training yet. I’m on such a roll with the weightloss train that I don’t want it to stop.
So what was the milestone you ask?
I have successfully lost 20lbs, actually I’m done 23.8 lbs altogether so far. I’m very close to getting back into the 170s this week. I will be pushing myself harder to make that happen. It’s been at least 5 years since I’ve been there. I’m very excited.
I wonder if that new app will help me at all? I guess I’ll have to play it to find out.
We’ll have a great night.
So if you aren’t watching yet, I’m not sure if you should at this point. The 12 new cast members aren’t that smart. Unfortunately the the first person eliminated was because of a game… The second and third were evicted due to their big mouths. They aren’t playing the game wisely and that has cost them. The next victim might not be sent out due to game play because it’s a weird week.
Frank is ruling the house even though Bridgette is the HOH. He’s controlling her and everyone knows it. He better be careful or he’s gone next week. He’s also not the nicest man in the house and he pissed off Mama Day. That’s going to be a costly mistake. If Category 4 pulls out another victory for HOH that’s the only way he will be safe.
Enough about him though…. Let’s talk about the hotness that is Corey.
This baseball coach has it going on. He’s got that nice boy next door attitude and the looks to match. He’s winning over people in the house and will be going far. He has to play a smart game and start putting some distance between him and Nicole or the house will turn on them. That’s what happen to Clay and Shelly last year…
Also I love Corey because he’s all about Christmas. They even put up a hashtag for him… #christmascorey which plays into my whole Christmas in July theme this month.
Okay a quick spoiler… Bridgette got hurt after the Veto comp because of Frank… She won the POV but didn’t use it… Now who is the house going to remove… I’m hoping Bronte.
Sound off in that comments to let me know what you think! The
I know I know… I should have done that before…8 weeks ago but what can I say? I was an addict. Mountain Dew was my down fall. I loved it! It would be my version of coffee. I had to have it in the morning and then again at 2:30pm.
This has proven to be a game changer for me. This definitely propelled me into a very successful week.
I have yet to start any weight or strength training yet due to the holiday but I’m thinking of stepping it up tomorrow. There is a park near my house that has obstacles at it so you can run a few feet and then do ten pull ups. My goal tomorrow will be to start it and see how many I can do at each station. I plan on doing three rounds and then running a mile.
I want to do this at least twice a week. I think Tuesday’s and Thursday’s to start. I’ll keep you posted if I succeed or not on my plan. I feel like if I write it down and publicize it, I’ll keep the momentum.
Well I have another post to write on a different subject, so have a great night!
Happy Monday everyone! Last week I went on vacation to the casino city of Atlantic City. It was a tough week to stay on track with all the wonderful food options that were at my disposal. Pizza, funnel cakes and fries everywhere!
I did my best since I did take healthy options with me on the trip to try to block out all the bad. I did make sure I had a regular meal around 2pm each day. I also started my day with a nice six mile each morning. That was very exhilarating way to start the day. It boosted my esteem and let me not concern myself with such a strict diet each day.
I did find the best veggie burger ever at a place called Broadway Burger Bar in the Tropicana Casino. It was soooo good and I can’t wait to go back for another one. They served it with an avocado relish and shoestring fries. I probably could eat one everyday, it was that good.
The whole vacation was amazing. Anytime I can get to a beach destination is always a good thing for me.
So how did I do?
I maintained my program. When I weighed in when I returned I was exactly where I was when I left. That’s thrilled me! Now it’s back to work and back to the regular program!
Have a great day!
Attention:Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched last nights episode!!!
Okay so there has been two solid weeks of Big Brother programming so far this season and yet another twist has been introduced… But we will get to that in a moment.
Last night we saw the “messiah” Jozea get kicked out of the house. The whole week he thought he was safe and eventually tried to finally talk to Nicole about why he was up on the block. What a dumbass…. You don’t wait until 2 days before to find out the motives of the HOH. You have to go and find out right away and then figure out who is all in an alliance to get you out. This is a game and not a time to make friends.
Okay… Now for the twist. Actually there are two since the last post I did.
The first one is call BB Roadkill where the house guests will compete in an individual competition to be able to nominate a third person for the block. This pasts weeks winner was Frank who put up Paul, however Paul won the Power of Veto and removed himself. HThis made Frank have to select someone else and he chose Bridgette. That helped keep the vote where the 8 person alliance wanted it.
The second new twist is call BB Battle Back… Similar to Survivor’s Redemption Island. The houseguests that were evicted will battle each other each week to get a chance to get back into the game. So Jozea will face off against Glenn who was out on the first day. They will do this for 5 weeks and then the last person will go back in the house so it might not be the last time we have seen Jozea.
Last night they also started the new HOH competition. After the live feeds it’s safe to say that Paulie is the new HOH.
I will leave you with that for now….
Have a good night!
